wool in summer

It’s a beautiful day today.  We had rain yesterday, for the first time in a month.  The humidity has lifted, there is a glorious breeze, and I am staying inside.

Probably napping sometime this afternoon. (With excellent reason, too.)

Human beings were not designed to wear wool in summer.  Not floor length wool skirts and heavy vests and long sleeve shirts when the thermometer is reading at over 30*C.  It’s enough to throw the inner temperature gauge all off kilter.  In a bad way.

Because it’s Folklorama time again, and with dance performances as well as viking ones, all we can do is hope that we don’t end up as a puddle on the stage at the end of the night!

Wonderful photo! Do I spot a little red stuga in the background? Hope you’ve had the best of times.

what a nice dress and photo! I hope you’ll be twirling so fast, and having so much fun that you won’t notice the wool :)
