scenery of the interlake

Although we’ve just come from a fabulous week in Quebec (photos of which have not been taken off the camera just yet), I have to admit to having a weakness for my home turf, and the scenery of my very unassuming province.  I suppose it’s a fair bit of just loving what I’m familiar with, but the views on the way to the sheep farm in Inwood were just so much like home, that they beg to be shared just the same as any other fabulous locale.

Not romantic, or fascinating, but small aspects of interest and past charm can be seen, if you take the time to look.  It’s just a backwoods interlake town, after all.

And the bit of luck that leads you to be in the right place at the right time, and see a bit of rare wildlife; well, that’s pretty beautiful scenery if you ask this prairie girl.
